11.  Milkshake Day

One noon hour during the week milkshakes are sold to students. Make sure to pre-sell tickets so that you know how many to expect

12. Cow Pagent

One noon hour hold a pageant to crown Mr. & Mrs. Moo!! You judge the best costume, best moo, best dancing cow and whatever other area you choose. From all events you total the points and crown your Moo King and Moo Queen.!

13. Milk Moustache Contest

Hold a competition for the best and biggest milk moustache (real or artificial)

14. Maintain Your Cool Day

You ask everyone in your school to dress “cool” for the day. Sunglasses, leather jackets or whatever they feel “cool” in.

15. Milking Contest

Hold a cow-milking contest using rubber gloves. Fill the rubber gloves with milk and poke tiny pinholes in the tips of the fingers. This one can be a little tricky, so be sure to hold a practice run before the competition.

16. Milk Poster Contest

Hold a competition to create the best milk poster that promotes milk. Hang them in your school’s hallways and judge the winning poster in each grade.

17. Professor Cow Contest

Each class is in competition with all other classes to dress their teacher as the best cow. Once the teachers are dressed they are paraded past the judges and the student body is to determine the best-dressed cow. The winning classroom would win an ice-cream party. Each classroom could pay an entry fee to participate in order to pay for the party.

18. Milk Carton Bowling

Take empty 1 or 2 litre milk cartons and fill the bottom with a little sand or some material to weigh them down. Set up a bowling alley or alleys and hold a competition or tournament to determine the best bowler

19. “Milk Carnival”

Set up a mini carnival for the day. Admission to the carnival is free to everyone dressed in black and/or white. Different groups in the school would be responsible for setting up a booth where prizes can be won. Ideas include:

  • guess the number of marbles in a milk carton
  • milk trivia wheel
  • paint your own cow socks/hat booth (use fabric paint)
  • knock the milk cartons over (fill with sand and use a baseball)
  • toss ball into empty milk cartons

Or whatever ideas you can think of!!

20. Milk Carton Crafts

Hold an art competition for the most creative design made out of milk cartons. Or hold a noon hour cow-building contest and build a huge cow out of milk cartons. The possibilities are endless with this one.
