Other foods contain calcium, but we have to eat a lot of them to get the same amount of calcium as in a glass of milk.

Calcium is found in foods like certain vegetables, beans, nuts, etc. The calcium in these foods is not as well absorbed as the calcium from dairy foods, but the amounts of calcium that these foods contribute are also important to your total calcium intake. See chart below for calcium content of some common higher calcium foods.
